Hello,
there was a thread on here about a year ago regarding
replacing/inserting Dovecot's deliver in the mail delivery process.
I believe the last solution attempted was to have vdelivermail output
to stdout and pipe that to deliver but it wasn't working so well.
Has anyone managed fully

Hi,
I'm trying to set up dovecot with vpopmail on a Debian Lenny system. I
have modified the package from dotdeb.org to use MySQL. Now, that gives

dovecot just doesn't want to do the authentication right.

Subject: [vchkpw] dovecot LDA with vpopmail
hi
i am using on my qmail/vpopmail installation dovecot as IMAP/POP3
server. at the moment i have only some of the users having their mail
filtered through sieve/delivered to the mailbox by dovecot LDA. for this
users i have added a line to their .qmail-default file file as written
on http://wiki
Hi There
I've been perusing the list to find an answer to this, but I'm not
entirely sure of the answer - can I replace vdelivermail with Dovecot's
deliver in .qmail-default? I want to use Sieve available in deliver,
but I'm not sure of the full impact this change will have. It seems to
work OK,

I need to disable non IMAP webmail access, then allow access to IMAP only from
localhost/webmail, and in the future enable full IMAP access only for some
users.
In a previous message I was advised to switch from courier-imap to dovecot and
so I did, but the problem persists.

I understand that Dovecot is a pretty good alternative to courier-imap. Has
