Does this IQ calibration function apply to the E310, or any of the
AD936x based SDRs?

You might try nice : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nice_%28Unix%29

This is probably not the issue, but sometimes I forget to turn the
compiler optimizations on and that can give you a little boost
depending on the code. gcc -O2 ...

Never mind. I should have been using "speed grade 3" not 1 for my model of e310.
For future googlers this page [2] talks about how to read the product
number to determine the speed grade.

Hello,
I'm having trouble booting from the latest sdcard images for the e310. [1]
I've tried a couple of different sd-cards, but consistently error out
in uboot with the following error

I've had similar issues on the e310 with similar sample rates. On the e310
no usb is involved. Unfortunately I have not been able to fully get rid of
the underrun issues as well.
So far I have tried:
- separate threads with ping-pong buffers: this helped
- linux real-time scheduling
- increasing t

True, it's only useful to the dynamic range of that 12-bit ADC.
Is there a recommended minimum sample rate for the E310/12?
Would this be dictated by the most narrow pre-selection filter?

Just my 2cents, but I think that sometimes running at a higher ADC sample
rate and then digitally filtering may be desirable. I can't say anything
specifically about this example with the E312 because I'm not familiar with
the pre-selection filters and the analog filters in the AD9361, but a

Is there a block diagram of the hdl implemented on the e310? I'm trying to
get a handle on what the e310 is doing, but reading the hdl directly is
slow.
I could probably use vivado to view the hierarchy of schematics/modules,
but is there some higher level documentation available somewhere?
Sorry
Thank you! I'll give the new image a try. I was struggling getting a newer
version of gcc installed from source.
I hadn't heard of bmaptool, so thanks for the introduction.
Thanks,
Luke

Hello,
The e310 comes with an older version of gcc (4.9.2). Is there a recommended
way to upgrade gcc?
Thanks,
Luke
