There are some cases where Tapestry 5.3 performs more rigorous checks
than Tapestry 5.2
That's one improvement I'll definitely love.
Thank you :)

Hello all,
I'm answering via cell phone so it might be some typos :)
The real reason i need one css file be included in the very beggining is our
analytics system that gothers client's access attempts. This css file has zero
file size and processed With special servlet.

I second this, but I think Tapestry already does this, at least looking at my
application, it is the case.

We are very pleased to announce the first release candidate preview of
Tapestry 5.3.
Tapestry 5.3 is significantly faster than Tapestry 5.2, and is more
memory efficient ... a long with tons of significant new features,
improvements, and bug fixes.

Hi Peter,
Thanks for your comments.
My component is of type 3 I would say but based upon the fact that the
pages for the crumb-trail need to have a BreadCrumb-annotation with
some properties set.
Currently I only store the pages with the annotation in the stack
which makes it possible to jump to

Use defer=false so that you can capture the context, then use the same
strategy that the submit component does and defer your processing code

Yes, and that's what I did (or the JDK logging equivalent) but I don't think
blocking all IOCRegistry errors is the right solution.

Josh, thanks for taking the time to explain how the submit component works,
makes a lot of sense now. I'm under the assumption when ever you use the
submit component in a loop with context you'll need to use defer false. The
loop will then need to be written at the end of the forum. Without using

Hi Joakim,
I haven't used your component so I am probably not the best person to comment
in this respect, since I wouldn't know enough about the implementation; I can
only comment on my own solutions... I have written two types of breadcrumb
components in the past for Tapestry 4 and 5, and what
Hi,
The referer-header is not something that I rely on, it's only used as
a value-add. It's used together with the BreadCrumbReset-annotation
where it's possible to say that the crumb-trail should not be reset
when the user comes from one of the specified pages. The worst thing
that would happen i

Hi Joakim,
Regardless of the issue with the ';' , I would rethink using the referer header
since its a pretty unreliable header, in-fact IE does not always pass it along
deliberately, I have noticed this in my own code, and this is backed up by
various supporting tickets like: http://support.mi
