Thank you, David. Sorry I should have known to give you a more verbose listing of the headers, I put one at the end for the "voicemail" spam. I'm using a friend's MTA, which is perhaps the source of the recent change - I'll have to check what they are doing. All my mail goes to a spool directory

Thanks again for the replies. I'm still investigating the problem, but I just noticed that "spamassassin" gives the message a score of 12.0, while "spamc"/"spamd" (which my mail setup is configured to use) still give it a 4.0. So it seems that something more mundane is going on, although I'm not s
