Hey, Matt et. al.
I deleted the AWL database (which seems to be corrupt) and I haven't seen the
problem again.
Thanx for your help!

Hello!
I have gotten several emails over the past 3 weeks with a really crazy AWL
score. Here's the headers from a message with a 4138 AWL score.
Where should I begin looking for this one?
Thanx!

What version are you on? This was a 3.0.1 problem as I recall, should
have
been fixed in 3.0.2.

Good morning!
I had two spams this morning that got past my mailbox filter because
the subject didn't start with SPAM.
I checked the headers, and there was no subject line at all. The SA
stuff all flagged the message as spam with a score above 20, but there
was no subject line to modify.

Here's a spam I got that was not flagged as spam. It looks like SA
recognized it as spam, but because the headers had no subject field, the
subject line markup never happened.
Should SA add a subject header if none exists and the message needs to
be marked?
Merry Christmas!

Why not make the change to /usr/share/spamassassin/50_scores.cf instead?
That way when the next version comes out, presumably with the patch,
you don't have to remember to un-do the workaround?

Greetings!
I have a file, local-names.cf, in the /etc/mail/spamassassin directory
which is a list of addresses I need to whitelist. It seems to work,
except for one sender. Here is the line from the .cf file:

I just installed SA 3.0 RC5 on my test server. The problem is, the
subject line is not being modified even though all the other headers are
there.
What did I miss?
Here's the lines from my local.cf.
Thanx!
