I see in the OO Help an Error Report Tool for reporting crashes. My OO v4.01
has crashed several times and this tool has never started as Help states it
usually will. Also I have searched the entire tool bar and everywhere else I

Good Morning Group,
I have been using Open Office for years, but never experimented.
I rarely use the Gallery, but decided to look-see. There are many
graphics I'll never use and whole graphic groups I don't need. How do I
delete them? Or add my own graphic?
I can delete specific graphics in a

Hi Andrea,
the retirement for CrashReporter on the Windows platform is somehow
understandable as the requirement to archive every Windows debug build
that has been released is too expensive for the project now but on other
platforms (like on Linux) where the CrashReporter used the backtrace

Something else that seems to improve picture handling is to turn the general

Hi, Chris,
I just uninstalled the beta version of open office because I was having
problems with it. I couldn't get out of the dialog when I was trying to
arrow down to the accessibility option to change some settings. Would it be
better to get the stable version?

One sure way is to open Task Manager and shut it down from there. That is
the only way I can close the program when OO crashes.

Hi.
I have just downloaded the latest German OpenOffice Release :
Apache_OpenOffice_4.1.0_MacOS_x86-64_install_de.dmg
and installed on my MacBook Air - OS-X version 10.9.3.
Sadly, the Mac OS-X does not allow to open this OpenOffice version as it is NOT
from a verified source!!?
How do I get it
Please disable Mac verification of source. Most of these 'features' affect
open source software that are not able to pay apple for a signature to
their CA.

Yes, you can use OpenOffice anywhere using the OpenOffice portabl apps
where OpenOffice LIVES in your USB or SD card. So you can have your work
and your application withing the same USB. Download it from our website

That thread is about using AOO on Mac OS X ver. 10.6.8. The OP is using OS X
ver. 10.9.3.

Hi all
I tried this on my Mac and am afraid to say from a VoiceOver user's
prospective it's not working very well at all. If you plan to make it
accessible then may I respectfully suggest you make it accessible on all
supported platforms. In Mac Os X just press command-f5 to activate
