Save as the native OpenDocument Format - .odt for Writer, .ods for Calc
etc. If you haven't saved "hours of work" you are at least risking an
unexpected shutdown of your computer losing your work.
If you must save in a foreign format, e.g. MS Office, only do that once
you have finished working
I recently downloaded the program and love it but am having saving - am
afraid of losing my hours of work - I have a MacBook Air OS Sierra Version
10.12.6 and when I go to save, I am not sure what to save it as. Thank you

Hello. I have tried all the suggestions from the Forum to save documents from
Writer and nothing helps. I am getting a message that “ the file cannot be
found in a search” when trying to save. Please help!!!
