Unless the document in question was saved to an online service, Google
Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, etc. *and* that account is still accessible the
answer is no.
OpenOffice does not have a default online file service.

If you are using Windows OS, have you tried right-clicking the file in
Explorer and checking the attributes? If read-only has been selected,
you can change that and try again. If you are using a Mac, can't help,
