Hi,
I wanted to install NB20 on Windows so I went for the .exe installer.
Edge gave me a warning that it might harm my computer and (after I
checked the SHA512 was OK!) when I tried to install it, Windows said
it was from an Unknown Publisher. Has NB never signed these installers

It would be helpful if the Linux installer would read the value of
netbeans.con (netbeans_jdkhome) from the previously installed version
and use that as the default in the installer dialog.

I use SDKMAN to manage my JDK installations since I work with multiple JDK

Hi Scott,
When I run "launchctl getenv JAVA_HOME” I don’t get anything back. So that
would explain why the installer doesn’t see it, I guess. But it doesn’t
explain why previously installers *did* see it, but now they don't.
