Yes, it's a Dell PowerEdge 1420. I did mess with the BIOS to try to get
it to boot from the dvdrom, but to no avail. I had to boot the dvdrom
from usb. I will restore defaults and see if that works.

I did remove nouveau before installing nvidia and I did try the
rpmfusion pkgs after that with no success. Ill keep an eye on that

interdependencies when kmod packages are installed such that a new
kernel update is *not* offered if the corresponding kmod package that

Use '--skip-broken' for now to apply other updates and skip this one,
and just wait for it to be fixed. ;(

If you can't wait, you can get it now from kde-redhat unstable.
But I recommend waiting until the official packages are built and pass
testing. It takes time to provide a reliable, regression-free update.

I'm running Fedora 12 64bit. I ran several updates today, now I only have
sound via headphones (the line out jack).
Anyone else seeing this?

If you have a HD 5xxx, you probably
need to wait for Fedora 13 or 14, there is currently no 3D support for those
in Fedora 11, 12 nor Rawhide.
