Just got two of them that I bought on ebay. Shows up as 1.9T. When I first looked at it, sfdisk showed it with 3 2TB partitions and 1 385? forget if it was MB or GB for the 4th one. Showed it as ExFat. Tried to use gparted to reformat it, but when it ran the mkfs.ext4 but had -O ^64bit and shows

The size and flash/ssh or not does not much matter, the firmware in the device all converts it to standard SATA or USB. Given the previous partition table I would suspect something funny is going on, either it is not really that size or the device is defective/damaged. The weird vendor/device nam

Good News and so so news. Installed exfat-utils and using it, was able to format it as exfat and it seems to be just fine. Ran tests, and it doesn't have any issues. sfdisk -l /dev/sdb Disk /dev/sdb: 1.93 TiB, 209715200 bytes, 409600 sectors Disk model: ProductCode Units: sectors of 1
