I have installed a fresh F29 while keeping /home as it was from F28. I
am using the KDE Spin.
Empty directories with very strange names are created in home folders:
ls gives the following names:
# ls -1
'0'$'\306'
Bureau
Documents
Images
Modèles
Musique
'P'$'\334'
'p%'$'\373\331\325''U'
Public
Télé

Does anyone have experience with software for use with Amcrest cameras.
I am able to view the rtsp video with vlc and Fedora 29 but that does
not provide control for the other functions such as pan and tilt.
We can control them with an iPhone or iPad but I would like to do it
from my Linux

Fedora 29 x86_64 on a Gigabyte Brix. dnf update berfore Xmas, worked
fine. Booted it today and it won't boot to the GUI. Shows Gigabyte on the
screen. However, I can ssh into it. (Thank goodness for ssh !)
