I have nfs setup, and works great. But the way I have it mounted, is at
boot via /etc/rc.local file with a mount command listed. I was
wondering if there was another way to get it mounted, or a more
automated way via a script that does just that or something?

I followed the instructions in /etc/sysconfig/tomcat6 to create a second
tomcat6 instance:
- created a link in /etc/init.d/tomcat6-dev
- created a file in /etc/sysconfig/tomcat6-dev
- created /usr/share/tomcat6-dev
- created therein symlins conf, work, temp, webapps to resp.

Ik accidentally discovered that my software RAID5 array was degraded:
one of the three disks had been kicked out of the array.
It appeared that disk /dev/sda1 had been disabled 5 days before! I was
totally unaware of the problem, which is odd.
