Thank you for your quick answer. Oddly, in the mean time, I had tried to
boot the machine under OS X (I have a dual boot setup managed by rEFFIT) and
the OS X startup hung just like the Fedora. So I booted the machine from an
Apple Systems disc and ran a harddisk tool only to find out that everything
was OK with the OSX partition on the disk holding three partitions (one for
osx, one two for Fedora). After this OS X miraculously booted AND Fedora
booted as well. Makes me think there is something funky about the disk?

Anyways, thanks for the help, and how do i do a grub reinstall should I have
to do it in the future? I boot it from a cd or dvd, and...

Thanks everyone else too for a great job with Fedora!

best,

/Henrik
