**NORMALLY** I go to Lenovo's support pages for bios updates, download
the ISO image boot and update.
I have done this on x120e and x140e that I have.
But the one I downloaded for the x131e is NOT working!
I may have the bios update function currently locked. Will have to check.

the drive I popped in is F35 and those firmware packages a
"spying" on the thread!
Would you mind detailing your process of updating the bios? (I know, I
could look it up, but I'm curious, as I've never done a bios/update. Would
be cool to have this data!

What does "no WiFi" mean? The card is not detected (look at dmesg or
the journal) or it won't connect?
