I have a feeling that Fedora now hides the device until you actually
put in a disc. My fstab has no entry for my CD device.

It is fixed.
The /etc/fstab was not correct.

Take a look on Revisor(http://revisor.fedoraunity.org/) and USBHowto at
Fedora Project Wiki (http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/FedoraLiveCD/USBHowTo)
I hope it helps you.

Any tips for building a custom Live Image? I need some AS/400 terminals and
would prefer to use linux, if I can. IF I can build my own image, I
wouldn't need a hard drive to install to.
Thanks!

Hello,
using F13/GNOME I really don't like that a CD or DVD gets automatically mounted
when inserted into the cd/DVD drive. This is really annoying if it a disk
I want to overwrite.
Where can I disable this behavier? I want to mount it by myself.
Greetings, Frank Elsner
