How do we determine why the messages are queued at the SMSC? Is there an

Is there any way to prevent Kannel from sending ^Z to a GSM / GPRS
modem?
I have a modem which works well delivering and receiving messages, until
it receives a ^Z from kannel, at which point it stops delivering
messages altogether.
