Had no idea there was a store status command, thanks for the tip.

Ended up rebooting the server a couple times, power cycled the modem, so
far so good.

Examining the bearerbox.log shows error from the modem in response to a
^Z from kannel, after which no messages were

delivered. Is it possible to tell kannel not to send ^Z to the modem?

Your bearerbox should contains this information.

Are you sure it's only status? Have you checked store-status command?

Thanks,

Couple more questions in that case,

Which log file, bearerbox.log, smsbox.log or wapbox.log?

Also, what am I looking for in the log?

Only http-admin command which shows any info is 'status'

Is there any way to view the list of messages in the queue itself?

1. See your log, there should be any information regarding the queue
issue

2. Use http admin command to view the queue (it is stated in the user
guide)

Good Day,

Couple of queues questions -

We have a kannel box set up with a GPRS modem, after a couple days we
see the following -

Status: running, uptime 2d 18h 42m 12s

WDP: received 0 (0 queued), sent 0 (0 queued)

SMS: received 15 (0 queued), sent 10 (0 queued), store size -1

SMS: inbound (0.00,0.00,0.00) msg/sec, outbound (0.00,0.00,0.00) msg/sec

DLR: 8 queued, using internal storage

Box connections:
    wapbox, IP 127.0.0.1 (on-line 2d 18h 42m 11s)
    smsbox:(none), IP 127.0.0.1 (0 queued), (on-line 2d 18h 42m 11s)

SMSC connections:
    digicel AT2[digicel] (online 240106s, rcvd 15, sent 10, failed 0,
queued 138 msgs)

How do we determine why the messages are queued at the SMSC? Is there an
way to view the queue itself?
