Are you really running the AJP listener in Tomcat on port 8080. Typically
it runs on 8009.
The port needs to match the definition for the Coyote AJP listener in the
Tomcat server.xml file.

This (43.16) is a pretty current release of "RedHat" OpenSSL. There are
slightly newer ones (43.17 is the current release).
It's funky but you may be better off just building with what RedHat

I'll assume you are using httpd 2.2.x
Not sure about all of your issues but to use "require valid-user" you
need:
AuthzLDAPAuthoritative Off

t-ends for mod_status floating around.
One used MRTG and was called apache-mrtg
And the other one I remember was called Cricket
I don't have references to these but perhaps you can find them.

You'll need to use "require ldap-group" or "ldap-attribute" or
"ldap-filter" and "AuthzLDAPAuthoritative On" to perform the authx phase.

This is what I use (I use the AD global catalog (GC)):
AuthLDAPURL

Try:
AuthzLDAPAuthoritative off
This is the required setting when
-ldap-dir= to
build HTTPD with LDAP.

require ldap-filter &(memberOf=G4570)
This works for me as the group affiliations are "mostly" described as
attributes in (our) AD.

Use the following configure options to build APR with ldap:
--with-ldap --with-ldap-dir=/opt/openldap

ifyClient renegotiation are due to mod_ssl not
being compiled static. He has a static compiled mod_ssl and indicates that
this operation works fine but in the shared mod_ssl is does not.
Somehow I can't see how this operational issue is related.

Never saw any response to this question:
Is there a consensus on compiling mod_ssl as shared or static?
Thanks.

There is a document bug in using SSLVerifyClient inside a in

I know there used to be some information that mod_ssl should be compiled
statically rather than dynamically.
Is there still such a recommendation for 2.0.54?
Solaris 2.8+
GCC 3.3.4
Thanks...
