We migrated from an old older server which was about 8 years old (dual core, 8GB Ram) to a new one (dual-hex core, 16GB Ram). The pages were actually being rendered consistently on the old in about 3-5 seconds - not bad for an 8 year old server. The new server can deliver the same page in about 20-
