Hello, What's the best way to disable access to all but selected files. For example, we have a php server. We'd like to serve php and html (css, js) files, but not much else -- .php~, .txt, or .pl or .sh or .readme... or whatever else. What is the best way optin what to allow rather than using

Hi, I have a script that is used to UPLOAD a file. This script reads from "stdin". It runs nicely for almost 2 years without any problem. Suddenly, today, it stuck at the end of the read process. It cant read from stdin completely. Anyone know what might be the problem? I dont change anythin

As an aside, an advantage of using a NAT router on cable or dialup is that you don't need to run the firewall on your Apache server because there is usually one in your router, unless you put the server in the DMZ on your router. Depending on the OS used, you may have to play with your hosts file

Heyas, get a router that supports your dynamic dns provider (dyndns is the most common). I have a Draytek Vigor 2600 for example and it can update even custom dyndns without any problems or additional software. I do not think that any programs can be loaded into the routers. I prefer not t
