RollingFileAppender doesn’t. Is there a way to configure Artemis to e.g. use
slf4j and logback?

If using standalone Jetty works then you might consider simply using that
approach.
In any event, I think you'd need to provide a reproducible test case for any
additional investigation.

You can try to replace the Activemq feature url in etc/org.***.features.cfg
with the new version and remove the data directiry. Please add also the
