I still recommend you updating your clients though. It should be compatible at an initial point, but you should plan an upgrade on these clients. the protocol compatibility will help you on an initial moment, but you should plan the move gradually. Especially on the 2.4 branch from hornetQ. Before

Artemis supports the HornetQ "core" protocol so all your existing HornetQ applications should work out-of-the-box from that perspective. However, JNDI is a different matter since the JNDI implementation has changed. As you noted, Artemis doesn't use a server-side JNDI implementation (e.g. JNP).

You have them networked, not clustered. ActiveMQ 5.x doesn't support clustering. it sounds like you want to use a master/slave pair instead: http://activemq.apache.org/masterslave.html On Dec 14, 2016 12:13 PM, "eladko" wrote: > Hi, > > I have 2 activiemq services clustered, one of them is a ma

Re: Network of Brokers - Connected but messages are not received on second broker

2016-12-14 Thread Tim Bain
Messages exist one one and only one active broker at a time. If that happens to be the one you shut down, that message doesn't exist until you start the broker again. Your question about why you aren't seeing the message on both brokers at once sounds like you're still expecting clustering behavi

pretty much what I would do if there wasn't a script that did just that (a script is in this case just a tool to make sure you don't forget a step and do the right thing in the right order... and make sure all is done safely) -- View this message in context: http://activemq.2283324.n4.nabble
