Hello,
Is there a way to allocate always the same pty to the same instance of UML ?
Like it is now, pty seem to be allocated in ascending order, but when I need
to start a bunch of UML's, it would be nice that they always get the same pty,
so that eg, if one of the UML's does not start, its pty n
upgrade.
What I also have done, because I have already 6
UML images running, plus 4 workstations and a
laptop, is to setup a local mirror using apt-mirror
(or you could use apt-proxy).

Here are my questions :
a) In what year has work begun on User Mode Linux ?
b) Where can I find a UML patch for the 2.6.9 kernel ?
c) Is there someone who has a Fedora Core 3 image available somewhere ?

Hello,
I am trying to start a FC3 filesystem, but I keep getting
Warning: unable to open an initial console.
Is this an access rights problem from the UML guest to the UML host or
does it signify anything other ?
In the meantime, I try to find it out again, because I always have problems

Hello,
Is there anybody here who can help me with a FC3 filesystem ?
I checked already several things (see previous threads), so it must be the
FC3 filesystem, which I downloaded from http://www.stearns.org/uml-root/.
It starts up and after mounting the root file system I get :

Hello,
In reply to my own post : looking at the output of the kernel, it seems that
this happens when the kernel is still in control, ie. the root file system is
mounted, but init has not taken over yet. This probably means that somehow the
kernel is rebooted as a consequence SELinux.
I will now
