FYI: I had a seg fault with a UML booting with a cow file, but no problem when a cow file was not used.  Anyway looked through the mailing list a week or back and found a similar problem. Jeff had posted the fix (patch) and said the patch was in the 2.6.17 mainline.  Added that patch  to 2.6.22.1 a

This run just failed to open your root filesystem. Yes, but same uml kernel exactly in the same situation without grsec patch, work! Therefore with grsec patch kernel don't find rootfs, but why ? Regards, leo - Ne ga
