Hello,
I've some problem running my UML in SKAS4 mode on my x86_64 (amd64) PC.
My host system has a 2.6.25-gentoo-r6 kernel with the SKAS4 patch for
2.6.25 kernels.
My UML kernel is 2.6.24.2 vanilla kernel with the skas4 patch for
2.6.24 kernels.
Why my guest is running in skas0 mode instead of s

The only way to get skas4 right now is to take the patches I've posted
(either the big rolled-up one or the series) and build b
UPDATE:
I've just tried to run this filesystem image
http://uml.nagafix.co.uk/FedoraCore6/FedoraCore6-AMD64-root_fs.bz2
and this kernel image:
http://user-mode-linux.sourceforge.net/linux-2.6.24-x86_64.bz2
I'm be able to start UML without problems but in SKAS0 mode.. and I
don't understand why...

2.6.18 does not have skas4, you need 2.6.24 + skas4 patch for the guest.

Hello!
I've just upgraded my kernel up to the 2.6.24-gentoo-r2 release,
patching it with the skas4 patch successfully.
Once I try to run UML, the first bad thing is that it still starts in
skas0 mode!!!
But I can't run UML too. The filesystem image has been built using
debootstrap and it is a 64bi
Hi,
We're having problems running UML with SMP enabled...(ie ncpus>1) on Suse
Linux 9.0 with
2.6.5-7.97-smp (host kernel)
We've built UML with linux-2.6.11.7 & have been unsuccessful running linux
in either skas nor tt modes
for SMP. Of-course, we have absolutely no problems when we're in si
