Thank you,

excuse me, but maybe I missed something due to my not utilisation of
UML during last months. So, it also maybe that I'm not up to date on
UML development and many other related things.
This is my situation. About one year ago I was running UML (in skas0
mode on my amd64) with my 2.6.17-gentoo-r7-skas3-v9-pre9 Gentoo Linux
kernel. I patched my _host_ kernel using the skas3 patch from
blaisorblade's website. That was the last time I ran UML. My _guest_
kernel has been patched using the uml-2.6.18.1-bb2.patch.bz2 (because
my guest kernel is (still)
linux-2.6.18.2). I've never update my guest kernel since that period,
maybe I'll do that soon especially if you suggest me to do so and if
it is absolutely necessary to get it working. So I recently thought to
update my _host_ kernel, patch it and run UML again using my old built
UML kernel doing nothing else. But that was the result I've seen (that
one I reported on the first e-mail).

Finally, my question is: shall I patch my _guest_ kernel with the
skas4 patch too? I'm little bit confused. :|
Shall I recompile my guest kernel? Meanwhile I'm going to try a
pre-built kernel image from the nagafix website and see what happens.

Best regards,

Thank you so much,

Flavio
