Hi all, I had dabbled with UML previously kernel 2.6.8 but I have recently got the incentives to be real serious, hence this posting. I am building with all the default options. I have been trying to build linux kernel 2.6.13.1 as UML but I am getting these errors continusously. LD .

Yes. You should be able to use it like any other file based filesystem. If you have problems with the iso filesystem being readonly, then you should be able to create a new file based filesystem using, for example, ext2, and use 'cp -R' to copy all the file from the iso to the new filesystem. Y
