I just join the List UML Rocks, but I have a question for the UML Gurus. Like to make the installation of LFS and have my UML running the basic Debian rootfs.
linux mem=64M ubd0=Debian-3.0r0.ext2 ubd1=128mb.swap ubd2=./root_fs eth0=tuntap,,,192.168.1.26 My problem is the LFS require uncompress with bunzip2 and requires gcc wich I don't have due to the Debian-3.0r0.ext2 root fs. I wonder if there is a way to create some LFS rootfs or download from somewhere in order to start my UML from there and be able to install LFS in my space of Linux root_fs Or perhaps be able to boot the LFS CD that will give me all the enviroment needed to install successfully LFS in UML ??? Thanks in advance for your help Best Regards Dino.
