con=port:9901 con0=fd:0,fd:1 umid=test1 mem=32m
Now I
open 3 terminals on the host OS and telnet on the uml with the following
command
telnet
localhost 9901

I've a problem with my UML's guests (woody/sarge/sid) on an SUSE 9.2
uml-host 2.6.9-skas3-v7
The guests are with linux-uml-2.6.9-full with uml-2.6.9-bb4.patch
Explication :

SLIRP got broken(in 2.4) pretty soon after support for it was added to
UML. It was convenient while it worked, but it hasn't worked for a
long time. Unfortunately, I don't have the exact version of the kernel
it broke in since I just nuked my slirp test
