I would like to copy my uml filesystems to the centrilized backup disks which are on the file server. What is a mechanism for this that respects the sparsity of the files? I have tried `scp` and `rsync` but have not found sparsity options for them like `cp --sparse=always` -

Hello, I experience a huge performance loss when I run my programms inside a UML-child. Creating 1,000 files took eighteen times as long as on the UML-host. A simple shell script to count up to 100,000 took three times as long. Is this normal? I run debian sarge with Linux 2.6.8 with skas-patc
