I just turn off my cellphone's WiFi. Then the phone connects via the cell
tower, which *is* very much outside of my office network.
And I did test it this way just now. And it worked, while previously, it
did not.

If it is very_important_meeting try to find someone from outside your
network and test before the meeting time :)
