After what I feel has been a exhausting search of the documents and old
sourceforge forums I am now reaching out for some help with connecting to linux
boxes.
I have ssl and RDP to Windows machines working perfectly, however I am missing
something on the Linux side.
Should I be using
I much prefer RDP compared to VNC. RDP just works much better for me and
it's always faster. On my Linux boxes I usually just install and configure
Xrdp. You'll also need a nice desktop environment to go along with Xrdp. I
prefer the Mate desktop since a full Gnome desktop is not well suited for
RD

I think we should look to adding an up-to-date FAQ on the website (not
within the manual) which covers these questions/issues.
So far, the following come to mind:
