Hi,
I'm using Cayenne 3.1B1 and Pivot 2.0.2 as a GUI and have come across
something which I would gladly have some good suggestions around.
The automatically generated getters for the relationships sometimes
returns a ToManyList of objects. To be able to use that list directly in

Hi Jörg,
I have had exactly the same reflection and I think I have seen different

Oh, I'm terribly sorry. I posted this in the wrong userlist - pressed
the wrong button. I meant it to go to pivot not cayenne.
But I must say, it is a good combo (cayenne and pivot).
Sorry guys - I'm embarrassed,

Hi,
I'm after a design/code pattern for handling ENTER and ESC for dialogs
(modal) as well as PushButtons performing the same function. When I
press ENTER or ESC the dialog is closed and I can find out in the
DialogStateListener which one was pressed (true, false) which I guess is

Thanks for the effort,

Hmm,
sorry to bother you guys again, even though that worked it seems that cayenne
now generates the following queries:
SELECT "t0"."fkid_co
quot;t0" WHERE t0.fkid_competition = ? [bind:
1->fkid_competition:200] - prepared in 38 ms.
Which fails due to the column in the WHERE clause not to be "quoted"
when doing "relationship-query" on the entity.

Hi Michael,

So far CreateIfNoSchemaStrategy worked pretty reliably for me. So very odd..
Could you please open a bug report in Jira. We may take a look. (Please also
specify version of Derby).

Well,
it works for me now after the patch (3.1). But then again I think Andrei
used my mapping to find the bug, so it might be better if Gilberto tried
it also.

Hi again,
thanks for the help.
I run on Ubuntu Lucid Lynx, and tried java -Xmx512m -jar

for the heap to fill up. The stacktrace also shows a different position.

Hi,
I'm modelling a series of database and objectentities and when I add one
of the relations and try to synch it, it asks if I want to remove
foreign keys mapped as object attributes, and I say yes and the CPU goes

Hi,
thanks for your quick replies. Yes I understand what you are saying.
So I think for the time being I will make the sourcecode changes in my
local sourcefiles to handle the namespace for dvmodeler so it can read
that we'll be happy to revive the DV project if we find a
dedicated volunteer to support it. I guess if that happens, my main request
would be to keep the DV stuff decoupled from Cayenne runtime and cayenne.xml
file.

Hi,
as I have understood the dataviews and dvmodeler has been cut out of th
cayenne project and is no longer maintained. Nevertheless I have kind of
fallen in love with cayenne during my evaluation of it and also would
like to have a look at dataviews and dvmodeler to see if it fits my
needs.
