Hey Mike,
Most daemons I have built with LC will poll a folder at a set time

A polling interval set too short can make the server slower. Setting it
too long makes the users complain about waiting 30 seconds or a minute.

I never had a virus while running Windows 8.1, other than the forced update
to Windows 10.

I thought the rename command allows for a different destination.
Therefore, rename is actually "copy as new name" when the volumes or drive
letters differ.

This robot is old, and they don't make it anymore, but I have it, and have
successfully driven it with LiveCode (when it was Revolution).

The ER1 has a built-in UI for programming it, but it also has a telnet
interface. I found an old MetaCard Telnet.mc
This is Awesome! In OS X it works as expected, but in Windows 7 the Index
fields, and point size field are shorter than the content. Clicking a
letter takes you "near" the letter in the font list, but is off a few

not open. Works fine in Safari.

reasons, and I didn't consider it a political apology at all.

I have an application running on Windows 7. Windows is localized for
Spanish language, and resides in Mexico. Convert doesn't work. In their
default format, convert VAR to dateItems returns the original unchanged VAR
content.
This is my workaround. Is there a better way?

Why handicap the performance for all but the high-rollers?
What does the open-source version get; the old half-baked libUrl?
Was there no open-source FTP libs out in the exp
Here on the east coast, the stream is dropping out (pausing) every 5

I remember an old webinar where LC demonstrated (at least on iOS) a desktop
pop-up automatically "just worked" as a mobile pick list. I believe it was
Ben Beaumont showing that. I never saw it for Android, but that was no

The key is the cpu, which must be an Intel x86 processor. I have not
tried this, but I want to. My current tablet has an ARM-based cpu, so I
can't try it (yet).
