Hi Mark,
I Beg to Differ about Next Repeat.
"It's not wat you do it's the way that you do it" comes to mind
Someone who writes spaghetti code can do it very well in any language but
its much more difficult without the structure brought in by the
Algol/Pascal/Modula.
I have not used a Goto Since
the system that I would like to thank you all again for LC (Other than the
dot notation, the open language ...

I thought I would post a link to a forum post I made -- Nobody seems to
have a an answer even a simple yes/no
or even a fully fledged Stack with Scott Rossi designed UI it seems ;-)

Hi Bob
That's why I said the Function part would be good - basically a LIVE
interactive debugger - the coding to do all the rest in a REAL programming
language rather than an animation studio or a testbed is way out of my
league - But given time and money anything is possible Except ..

Hi,
I am well up on the argument of secrecy and that article - falls down in
the first few paragraphs with the vaccines - you probably haven't heard of
the whistleblowers - Gus Grissom comes to mind

Hi All
I feel my IQ goes up by at lest 10 points when I read some of Mark's
detailed answers concerning Livecode internals - and the thought processes
that go into them.
Mark's and many others' answers are worth the price of admission to this
list - thanks a lot Mark for such an erudite expositio
HI All
Hoping I'm not teaching my granny to suck eggs ... Here is a great article
I remembered reading from a few years ago. It's easy to find on google so
you probably know of it ...

I was going for PICTURE but now I think Richmond’s FRAME is better. It
takes into account the newbies, encompasses the same thought process as
Bernd’s BLACKBOARD and will stop Jacque killing Mark when there is no
abbreviation, because BLACK is taken.

Hi Alex,
As much as I think revigniter is brilliant at what it does I really think
if this is going to be done it should be done in LC totally.
1. The first reason which you in the fact brought up that we could use
the IDE to debug
2. If PHP can do it why not Livecode?
3. I'm really hating codi
HI All
Just tried to start work (using 6.7.11) and I got an activation box come up
saying the sessiion has lapsed.
Tried it also on my MAC just in case ... no go.
So I went to my LC9 DP 11 and again "The session has lapsed - try again".
and it wouldn't automatically activate.
So I go to the liv
