I still have trouble shutting down. There is a menu on the right that keeps
popping out that allows shutdown, but I don’t know what I do to make it happen.

privileges and “only me", so the working installing was that way.

The LiveCode installers handle privilege elevation themselves - it is
best to not run them as an admini

This is not from a network drive. This is right from the downloads folder.
Do I need to change some security settings?
