Personally I think a settings lens would be useful. You would still be able to search for settings, but the applications lens would be much cleaner. However, if we are trying to get people to use the 'power cog' to change settings, then they should not be in the dash at all. -- Please avoid

We have a confirmation dialogue when the user clicks shut down, and they can also select restart from this menu. So why don't we change the menu so there is instead an option to 'end session', which then leads to a confirmation dialogue that includes all the possible options to end a session?
