I'm disabling the patch in xkeyboard-config natty; based on the last
couple comments it sounds like this might cause secondary issues, and
upstream did not take the patch as it appears to have not been a full
fix.

So if you've landed on this thread looking for a solution suitable for a
newby, here's what worked for me without needing a command line or great
knowledge:
Open "Ubuntu Software Center"
Click on "Installed Software"
Search for "nvidia"
Remove all resulting packages except for "jockey-gtk" and
Anyway, I assigned this bug to the Ayatana discussion team, since it's
Unity related. Hopefully this bug will get fixed very soon. I have
decided to install Unity 2D as a workaround for now.

Don't think it's related but the day this got released my Natty stopped
working. Tried everything, all kernels, fallback settings for x,
reconfiguring my xserver to use radeon instead, removing fglrx (I could
start without x) and so on. Nothing worked - back to 10.10 for now.
