The only way I know to get ubuntu out of sleep is to press the power

up. I think the green line may be important though, unfortunately I am
not a xorg developer and have no idea how it works so I don't think I

OK now, I tried to get a backtrace and X seems to be broken completely.
I have some random (psychodelic =) ) colors on the screen and some
shapes that likely are panels and windows. Critical, it seems to me.

I can confirm this issue in Lucid Xubuntu dated 2010-01-08. It appears
to start in low-graphics mode every other restart. A restart using
Ctrl+Alt+SysRq+k seems to restart it in normal graphics mode.

I have a A4 Tech WOP-35 and a WOP-35PU (the USB variant).
When i plug both mice in, the psaux one works OK but
the USB mouse has this strange sporadic double-click

I run the debian-squeeze distribution.

External display now resumes from power save cleanly. I did not try

My Laptop is Intel.
The Lucid partition on my desktop computer won't boot at all with its

A difference between this bug and the behavior reported on bug #504381
is that this bug behaves the same way whether kernel 2.6.32-9-generic or
2.6.32-7-generic (the one on the install CD) is running, while for bug
#504381 it is different.
