Thanks Deathstalker, if you read my submission carefully, you'll notice
that the card already works fine with Jaunty.
The point I was trying to make is that a trivial hardware change forced
me abandon my LTS (8.04 Hardy) before the arrival of the next LTS (10.04
Lucid). An LTS shall be an LTS beca
It seems that this video card is supported with a more recent verison of
Ubuntu. Please try upgrading to 9.10 (Karmic Kola) and see if the error
still occurs.
