The bug still exists in (up-to-date) 9.10 Karmic but it's not Nvidia drivers dependent. Kdetv does not see any analog TV cards in opposite to tvtime or xawtv. It has to be somewhere in QT3 libraries as the same Kdetv binary was used in Kubuntu 8.10 and 9.04 and on 8.10 it worked but after upgrade
