Before the last update the touch input for my Wacom Bamboo Pen & Touch
worked just like a normal trackpad, the tracking was relative, but now
it's absolute. The pen input works just fine.

Interestingly enough, after first time it got registered in Ubuntu it is
also now working on a fresh install too as well as in the installer it
self (it didn't work in the installer previously). I don't know the
cause, but it appears that no further fixing is needed...

I would, but I'm no longer certain that it was the patch that did the
trick. Since I've upgraded to kernel 3.3.1 I haven't experienced the
problem (it has been roughly 10 days) so I'll wait and see if the

It seems I just ran into this problem on Ubuntu 12.04 (final beta) with
nvidia's binary drivers v295.40, using XFCE. Geany would randomly become
extremely slow, sometimes taking seconds to update the text view.
Whenever this happened, Xorg used 60-100% CPU. Switching off subpixel
rendering in XFCE'

There is no obvious sign of a problem nor is there any change in
preformance from the GUI side (which is all I use)... just the problen
warnings etc! using ubuntu 12.04 beta... Hope this is some help, Keep up
