3.0.0-12 or 3.0.0-13. I resolved it in Ubuntu 11.04 by installing a
mainline kernel (approx 3.1), which I've since disabled in favor of the

There are two bugs here:
1) 1024x576 resolution is not selectable by default in gnome display
properties.
This is coming from the EDID for the display. Unfortunately there is no
way to fix this directly and will have to be worked around, possibly by
issuing the commands in comment #4

libreoffice looks completely messed up when opened
