Just wanted to add that I have been having the same problem (same error
messages, same frequency of crashing). Though, my setup has a 3500FX
for the monitor and a Tesla C2070 GPU...and I only have the one monitor
plugged in. to the 3500FX.

I still notice the issue here, on a fully-updated HP Mini 110. Letting
the screen turn off by itself seems to be what triggers it; it will turn

I have VMWare 8 and dual monitors running separate X servers. Every hour
or so while writing code in Emacs, my keyboard key repeat will stop
functioning. I can re-enable it by opening the keyboard configuration
utility and unchecking/checking the key repeat box. I do not know
