Public bug reported: I have VMWare 8 and dual monitors running separate X servers. Every hour or so while writing code in Emacs, my keyboard key repeat will stop functioning. I can re-enable it by opening the keyboard configuration utility and unchecking/checking the key repeat box. I do not know exactly what sequence of events causes it to occur.
