Due to Xinerama's design, monitor hotplugging can't work there.
However, it does work with XRANDR and KMS.
fglrx now supports XRANDR 1.2 (but not KMS). I can't easily test this
on my own hardware but suspect it should work properly now. Would you
mind testing oneiric (using fglrx with RANDR and
I think this was just a transitional thing during natty development.
