i believe the command you are looking fro is srm.
try typeing "man srm" in terminal.
i personaly have not used it.
i have used wipe command in the past .

g statler alpha on my samsung nc10. have to say i
haven't had any issues.
although i love openbox. the xfce mod looks exactly the same as the openbox
setup. with added advantage of auto-generating menus.

i believe as of 9.10 the default bootlader is now grub2 instead of grub.
grub2 has a different menu setup and more features. There is still a menu
file. /boot/grub/grub.conf

t. max resolution is 1440x900.
as to graphics card. i have nvidia in my desktop and ati on one laptop
and intel in other laptop. was not happy with the open drivers for
nvidia or ati so closed source it was. all seem to work resonably.
only problem i had with intel was that there was no opengl sup

should include a virtual keyboard. some great guys in the community
have added a virtual keyboard to the koolu release but it has issues
with not being able to input text in some of the dialogs.
as for the android os look and feel. i realy like it. some nice
visuals and snappy screens.

I have experienced the sound disappearing from all my ubuntu intrepid
systems. not sure why. i followed the tutorial here
