Hi,
Can anyone recommend a good USB wi-fi adapter for use with Ubuntu? I
don't mind if it takes some tinkering to set up the first time, but I
need high reliability for a non-gearhead to be able to use it after
that.
Thanks,

Any opinions on how important it is for a laptop sleeve (I mean the
kind that only holds the laptop & maybe a mouse pad, not the bag with
pockets) to fit the laptop closely?
I got a sleeve for my kid's computer at Staples recently --- it's the
right thickness & well-padded, but has about 1.5 to 2

Just wondering if anyone would like to recommend any particular USB
dongle internet hardware/services in the UK? I'm expecting to use it
quite a bit for short periods, but only in the UK. Obviously it needs
to be usable with Ubuntu!
Thanks,

I made the mistake of buying a Yuraku 1.5" digital photo-frame
keyring, then discovered it not only fails to work as a USB
mass-storage device (the obvious standard) but it isn't even
compatible with PTP (gphoto).
Can anyone recommend something like this that is compatible with

Would anyone like to recommend an external USB sound-device with a
line-in input, suitable for recording from a hi-fi line-level
connection using Audacity? I have no idea what to search for or what
the price ranges are like.
A 3.5 mm or 2.5 mm stereo jack would be fine, or even a pair of RCA
jack

2.5-0ubuntu1 but I have 2.5-0ubuntu14 installed.)
Leafnode runs fin
