Having said that ... today the connection died and (after trying to revive it from the Network Manager applet several times) I got it to work by swapping the USB ports. > It probably needs a powered USB port - AFAIK not all USB ports are > powered. Try your mouse in the one the dongle doesn't work on.... The mouse works in either one.
